Hannah Montana: The Comple First Season DVD Review

Hannah Montana: The Complete First Season DVD Review
Written by Loys Johnson
Hannah Montana comes to DVD with a fairly decent video presentation. The show is presented in fullscreen, and is surprisingly low-budget to begin with. The video should be more than fine for the majority of fans. 5/10.

Disc 1:
1. Lilly, Do You Want To Know A Secret?
2. Miley Get Your Gum
3. She's A Supersneak
4. I Can't Make You Love Hannah Montana if You Don't
5. It's My Party And I'll Lie If I Want To
6. Grandma Don't Let Your Babies Grow Up to Be Favorites
Disc 2:
7. It's a Mannequin's World
8. Mascot Love
9. Ooo, Ooo, Itchy Woman
10. O Say, Can You Remember the Words
11. Oops! I Meddled Again!
12. On the Road Again?
13. You're So Vain, You Probably Think This Zit is About You

Disc 3:
14. The New Kid in School
15. More Than a Zombie To Me
16. Good Golly, Miss Dolly
17. Torn Between Two Hannahs
18. People Who Use People
19. Money for Nothing, Guilt for Free
20. Debt It Be

Disc 4:

22. We Are Family - Now Get Me Some Water!
23. School Bully
24. The Idol Side of Me
25. Smells Like Teen Sellout
26. Bad Moose Rising

Included is a Dolby Digital 2.0 track, and while for a film it would be inexcusable, Audio is fine, and while not impressive, it surely does it's job considering the type of show as well as the budget. 5/10.

Hannah's Highlights (Pop-up trivia available on select episodes)
Back Home Again With Miley (7:04)
Disney Channel Games Episode (22:39)

There are not many extras, but Back Home Again With Miley is definitely a neat extra. You can see Miley and dad at their farm, and just walking around and talking about past memories there and it just was nice to see. Miley Cyrus really shows her fun and youth in the feature, and it just shows a different side of her.

Blu-news Summary
Hannah Montana is one of the most popular children's shows on television. While the show does have a target audience, it is surprisingly pretty good. The show really does a good job at not limiting itself to just one group as far as entertainment goes. The show is quite funny, and while always a bit cheesy, it's still fun. Disney has included all 26 episodes of the first season, making it a perfect family gift for the holidays. Video and audio are just as I expected for a Disney Channel show, but fans shouldn't be bothered much if at all. The Complete First Season DVD release of Hannah Montana is 'Recommended', especially for fans and parents of fans.
