Film Rating: PG-13

The Curious Case Of Benjamin Button comes to Blu-ray with a 1080p AVC/MPEG-4 video presentation. As part of the Criterion Collection, the film is given an entire disc for the high-def presentation, taking up a whopping 44.2 GB. The presentation is free of edge enhancement and DNR, and because of that it looks just perfect. The film has such a beautiful and muted look, but even muted, the colors are still rich. Detail is very impressive, and the special effects are just as strong. DVD just can't compete, and it doesn't get better than this. 10/10.

Included is a 5.1 DTS-HD Master Audio track that is sure to please and impress. Dialogue is clear at all times, while staying front and center. The film's amazing music comes through beautifully, and really is magic to the ears. The film has very little action, but that doesn't keep it from being a very immersive and inviting experience. The track is beautiful to begin with, but the lossless experience only enhances it. 10/10.
