"The American Express Card. Don't steal home without it."
- Willie Mays Hayes

Major League comes to Blu-ray with a 1080p AVC/MPEG-4 video presentation. The presentation is definitely a mixed bag. The release looks fairly good, and clearly an upgrade from DVD. But the print used is quite dirty and distracting, with specks here and there, and dirt occasionally. The film's colors are improved, and detail is sharp and overall pleasing. 7/10.

A 5.1 Dolby TrueHD audio track is included and sounds quite mediocre. Major League has never been a surround sound experience, but more of a front heavy experience. This lossless audio track presents the same track, just lossless. Dialogue is clear, and the film's effects sound fairly nice well. The game at the end of the film is where the surround opens up more, and becomes a more impressive experience. It's a decent track, but don't expect to be amazed. 7/10.

My Kinda Team Making Major League (23:11) (SD)
The cast talks about making Major League, including some nice behind-the-scenes footage. The fact that it's in standard definition, may make it hard to watch though.

A Major Look at Major League (14:27) (SD)
Interviews and thoughts from real Cleveland Indians.

Bob Uecker Just A Bit Outside (12:43) (SD)
Cleveland Indians are back with more thoughts, but also features a few members of the cast as well.

Alternate Ending with Filmmaker Introduction (4:18) (SD)
The alternate ending is terrible quality, but fans of the film should check out what could have been.

A Tour of Cerrano's Locker (1:34) (SD)
Very pointless explanation of a locker, as he attempts to be funny.

Blu-news Summary
Major League is a classic comedy, it's always been loved and always funny. The Blu-ray release is mediocre but improved from DVD. Fans of the film will enjoy the upgrade, but those looking to be impressed will have to look elsewhere. Those who haven't seen the film should give it a rent first. Major League on Blu-ray is 'For Fans Only.'
